Guroux, a chef hailing from the heart of Kansas City, Missouri, was driven from a young age to pursue a career as a classically trained chef. Following his education at Le Cordon Bleu in Atlanta, Georgia, his passion for his hometown and its rich culinary heritage led him to establish District Biskuits. Book a partyThe most amazing biscuit I've ever had. Tall, flaky, buttery - SO good. The Troost Juice is refreshing & really flavorful. Counter service with small seating area indoors and larger outdoor seating area. The line moves relatively quick so don't be deterred by a long line.
Best. Biscuit. In. Town. It is the perfect ratio of crispy exterior and fluffy interior, with so much buttery deliciousness. I had The Cure and I can tell you I have never had fluffier eggs in my life. The chives gave the eggs so much flavor and the bacon jam and caramelized onions harmonized perfectly...
Finally made it to District Biskuits today after wanting to find a reason to be in NKC to grab a brunch meal. I split the biscuits and gravy and a side of sweet potato tots with my boyfriend and both were DELICIOUS. Portion was definitely right for both of us to be satisfied but not stuffed. I would love to come back...
All I have to say is believe the hype. There is a reason there is a line to or out the door in the morning. Come hungry because the sandwiches are no joke and the biscuits are so good you might try to poke two in there. The daily crew is dedicated to the grind and it shows. The interior has evolved so much since the first day they opened and it is exciting to see what they will do next!
